Have a listen to this rare Sixto Rodriguez song, “I’ll Slip Away”, when he was, at the time, going by Rod Rodriguez, a short-lived name change by local Detroit producer, Harry Balk, who thought it was a more ‘attractive’ title. Either way, no matter what the name, the humble Rodriguez is one of our favorites.
